OVER 40 YEARS OF DESIGN, SUPPLY AND INSTALL OF ARCHITECTURAL FACADE SYSTEMS
Pre-Construction Engagement
We welcome opportunities of early engagement and believe it to be advantageous for all involved, with key project stakeholders getting key development of technical and logistical solutions and realising the most cost-effective solutions.
Within our 50 years we have accumulated a comprehensive knowledge that allows us to deliver good advice, both technically and practically, playing a key role in the overall risk management of the scheme.
Our initial involvement is to review concept details, designs, and specifications to gain an understating of the customer’s requirements. From this position we are able to offer cost plans, details and proposals whilst highlighting key considerations such as compliance, building tolerances, buildability, structural interfacing and value engineering. Numerous occasions have seen our early engagement successfully meet our customer’s requirements whilst value engineering the scheme by an impressive 20%.
Manufacture
Within our 30,000 sq ft. production workshop, that houses both 3 axis and 4 axis CNC and cutting machinery we are self-sufficient with our manufacture process. Our impressive workshops allow us to accommodate the assembly and construction of fully detailed project specific samples through the earlier stages of the project and provide full traceability and quality records of all products purchased within the later stages of the project.
Install
Within the pre-construction engagement and design phase of our works, key consideration is given to buildability and practicality. We aim to anticipate the practical challenges that the installation may or will present so that safety and quality can be installed as well as designed.
Each project has a project specific quality plan developed and which identifies the necessary and appropriate hold and inspection points. The Quality Plan is issued to all relevant stakeholders for comment and approval at the early stages of the scheme. The quality plan and all project photographic and QA material is collated on a weekly basis providing each project with a comprehensive record of the works completed.
Health Safety, Quality and Environment
It is Neg policy to provide and maintain a safe working environment for all of our employees and any other personnel working under the Neg supervision. We aim to better all legislative compliances by instilling a proactive approach to the health and safety within our offices, workshops and sites, taking full acknowledgement of our duty and responsibility to offer the adequate protection to any other person(s) that may be affected by our works or activities. Neg employ an in-house HSQE Co-ordinator who deals with all quality aspects of our business as well as assisting our site management structures with their duties. Our site management structures are fully, relevantly qualified, holding qualifications such as Construction Degrees and CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme Certificates.
